Focus on Ingredients: Always All Natural

Posted by Shannon Brown on
People sometimes skeptically ask if our soap is really all-natural and they’re surprised to look at the ingredients to see that it truly is. The base of all of our soap contains just four ingredients: saponified olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, and shea butter. Our bars are scented with essential oils and we never use artificial fragrances, dyes, or palm oil. We’re proud to offer soap that’s made from all-natural ingredients.

Taking Care

Focus on Ingredients: Shea Butter

Shea butter is the fat that’s extracted from the kernel or nut of the African shea tree. Shea butter is healing, moisturizing, loaded with fatty acids and vitamins, and has anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties.

Focus on Ingredients: Castor Oil

Focus on Ingredients: Coconut Oil

Up next in our list of ingredients is the powerhouse coconut oil. Coconut oil is the second most prominent ingredient in our soap and that’s because it’s amazing for your skin and makes a gorgeous, long-lasting bar.

Focus on Ingredients: Olive Oil

My favorite meal and guilty pleasure is Roy Chio’s Pasta Aglio e Olio. In the winter, it’s our go-to Sunday night dinner, made with Will’s homemade pasta. It’s a bowl of heaven — pasta drenched in garlic and olive oil.
