I want your soap to last you a long time… which might seem like a weird thing for someone who sells these soaps to say. But as much as I love for you to continue buying soap from us, I want your investment to last, so here are some tips for caring for your soap that help stretch the life of your bar.

MAKE YOUR SOAP LAST
Our bars are generous in size and will last a long time if cared for properly. To get the most out of your soap, keep it dry between uses. Don’t allow it to sit in a puddle of water or it’ll turn into mushy slime. Gross.

Our handcrafted wooden soap dishes are designed to drain water away from the bar, so they keep your soap nice and dry.

HOW TO USE
With water, lather the soap between your hands or apply it to a body brush, washcloth, or loofa. Generously apply to your hands and body.

Pipit & Finch soap is meant to be used and enjoyed. I know it’s tempting to tuck it away in a drawer to keep your undies smelling nice, but do yourself a favor and use the soap. The scent and pigments will fade over time, so to get the best experience, use it within six months of purchase. You’ll be glad you did.
